Dig deeper into one of the top Farmers’ Markets in the nation! Just as in times of old, the market is a place where the community comes together for food and friendship. You’ll find high quality, Colorado-grown produce, fresh flowers, herbs and spices, perennials, pastries and a select group of local restauranteurs and culinary experts offering their wares.

Small groups guaranteed, tour capacity of 10, to ensure quality experience!

2012 Tour Season

(late-May through early October, tour calendar):

  • Wed 4:30 pm
  • Sat 9:30 am

The tours cover 8 long blocks at a leisurely pace (no hills), and we will spend about an 1 hour and 15 minutes together.

Reservations highly recommended, but not required (capacity 10, first come-first serve).

How much?

  • $20 adults, prepaid online, 18-64 yrs (price includes $5 market voucher! $22 walk-up, cash only, first come-first served, capacity 12)
  • $18 senior, prepaid online, 65+ yrs (price includes $5 market voucher! $20 walk up, cash only, first come-first served, capacity 12)
  • $14 youth, prepaid online, 10-17 yrs (no market voucher, $16 walk up, cash only, first come-first served, capacity 12)
  • no charge for children (0-9 yrs, but must still be registered, young children will need strollers to keep the pace!)

Where?

Meet your guide outside the downtown visitor’s kiosk, corner of 13th and Pearl Street in the heart of the Pearl Street Mall, in front of the historic Boulder County Courthouse.  Your guide will be there 10 minutes early and will be holding a sign: Boulder Walking Tours. The kiosk is 3 blocks from the Farmer’s Market and meeting here ensures us the opportunity to provide background and answer questions before reaching the market itself.

You will end the tour at the Farmer’s Market with your $5 vouchers in hand — easy for shopping and crafting a delicious picnic afterward!
