Our Town
Nestled against the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, at an elevation of 5,430 feet, Boulder is home to about 100,000 residents. The “Boulder City Town Company,” 25 miles northwest of Denver, was organized in 1859 as a supply place for miners. Recently celebrating its 150th anniversary, today’s Boulder is popularly known for its somewhat quirky past, award-winning quality of life, vibrant community and stunning natural setting.
